William Phoenix is an award winning director and producer from North Hollywood, CA. His latest directed short, Sunny Side Up (2022) screened at the Austin Film Festival and won Best Short at New York Film Week. While at New York University's Tisch, William wrote-directed High Hoops (2016), winning Best Short at the RevoltTV film festival and later becoming a Short of the Week and Directors Notes selection. He recently produced, Learning English (2024), a short premiering at SXSW. 

 

Additional producing collaborations include the first season of HBO's award-winning television series We're Here (2020), a set of New Balance campaigns for Beyond the Run, and the second season of the AppleTV+ series HOME (2022); directing and producing the fifth episode in Sag Harbor, Long Island. The series was produced by A24 Films and won the Daytime Emmy ® for Outstanding Directing Team for Single-Camera (Non-Fiction).
